  2. The information says “see thru”, but a BLACK rubber case came, was very disapointed as the point of getting an ipod with color was to give it to my wife and have the color match her new car. Well to put it in the case spoils the effect. She is DISAPOINTED.

  3. First off, I would like to say that the item I received was, although partially what I ordered, different. I ordered the clear case, it came with a clear, a transparent purple, a transparent black, and a clip back. If they had worked, I would have loved this little ’surprise’, but they didn’t so I’m not so thrilled.

Secondly, I ordered a Skinit for my nano (which I love) but the cases won’t snap around it — which was the whole point in buying a hard, clear case, so I could see the design through it. I was thoroughly disappointed, but for five dollars, I don’t think it’s quite worth the hassle to return.

I don’t know how this works on nanos without a Skinit (it was more expensive than the case so I didn’t take mine off), so I can’t say whether or not it works, but if you have an iPod with a Skin, beware!!

  4. The photos for this item are correct: I received two clamshell pieces that enclose the iPod and only leave the wheel and connectors exposed.

    The “Product Fatures” also state:

    - Screen protector is a separate piece of clear, hard plastic with a soft rubbery ring that lies against the screen

    - Tough rubberized corners provide extra protection

There is no screen protector (the clamshell already covers the display), and the corners are clear acrylic, not rubberized.

Some of the other reviews led me to believe that the belt clip was removable, which it is not.

I’m giving it only two stars because of the misleading description … apparently the vendor got the model numbers mixed up.

  5. Speck’s ToughSkin case for the Ipod is great. Highly recommended.

I purchased, through Amazon, the case through Amazon with ANTOnline. They shipped the wrong product and never responded to me. Ultimately, I saw where they refunded my product cost. However, my return shipping was never refunded or addressed.

Great Speck product — just dont buy from ANTOnline.
